EARL SMITH: Composer of the musical; having a background of nothing but music; being born with a tuning fork in his hand, his multi-faceted musical abilities settled early on the piano, the instrument that brought along his composing, arranging and performing with big bands, jazz, and smaller groups playing throughout the United States and Europe. In between 'breathers,' Earl also provided background support to some well known vocalists. Fortunately, once familiarizing himself with the manuscript of "Who's Got What It Takes? -" Earl wrote its first few melodies that proved so exciting he agreed to devote full-time to composing the music urged on by his love of the project!

PATTI BERMAN: Lyricist of the musical; also a vocalist, and recording artist, 'extraordinaire' (known in the 'song' world as 'Ms. Patti B') performs throughout the United States and Canada during which time her carefully chosen songs are 'delivered' with such profundity that audiences stay enthusiastically attentive as evidenced by her on-going 'One Woman Show' epitomizing the lives of four great 'ladies of song' who contributed to the recognition of those magnificent song writers of the 1920's to the 60's whose music is legionary. - And so, to "Who's Got What It Takes?", Patti's lyrics form a superb bond between the fluidity of wonderful music and the dialogue.
